B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science curriculum provides an excellent base for candidates to showcase their creativity and logical mind. The sessions include an in-detail study comprising of topics like interior design, clothing, sewing, furnishing, consumer education, institutional management, child development, food preservation, money management, family relationships and much more. The course includes theory as well as project work comprising of the topics mentioned, allowing candidates to showcase and explore their creative bent of mind.

Home Science lays across a wide arena of options for candidates to begin their career in the respective subjects as well as are profusely trained to carry on creative and logical skills on the career front. Candidates have the opportunity to pursue teaching jobs in both private as well as government sectors. They are skilled to work in industries related to food products, cooking, garments and other such.
After the completion of the program, aspirants have job scopes in Textile, Food, Nursing Homes, Children Welfare Centres and Restaurants to work in posts of counselors and caretakers. Individuals can also take up Interior Designing and Fashion Designing as their full-time job and further pursue higher studies and research in the same field. They can become Nutrition Expert, Food Analyst Hospital Attendant, Health Care Worker, Housekeeper, Child Care-Taker and much more.
